I've pretty much finalised the plot of my new picture book (although am sure to go back and revise) and am now working on compositions. It's funny that up until now I have been using the same temporary compositions when messing around with the plot and pacing, fairly sure that I was happy with them. However, as soon as I made myself come up with another ten or so compositions for each page, it's amazing how much more dynamic and exciting the ideas I've come up with are.
