Commission for Leigh's Nursery, Newcastle

After graduating from my MA, I was commissioned by a friend who owns a nursery in Newcastle. He wanted a painting for his wife's Christmas present. The brief was to create a painting 4ft by 3ft, incorporating the nursery's logo, rabbits and hearts!

Here is some of the development work including a village fete mood board, character development and three of the many composition ideas I came up with.
